Susan Auer Kirt, LMSW

You may be at a change point. You may feel lost. You may feel disconnected. Maybe you have heartache. Will you decide to begin, in this moment, where you are? I will listen to you with sincere attunement. You can expect to feel a sense of safety and feeling "seen." The intention is to make space for you to risk vulnerability for a more authentic life. Meaningful and useful therapy is purposeful, actionable, honest, and sometimes challenging. Your care will be based on research, your story, and your strengths. I consider each person as a whole. My approach in counseling is integrative and evidence-based. It is grounded in hope.

I specialize in customizing creative ways to bring forth healing and release suffering. Broader concepts of meaning, belonging, and understanding how your past affects your present are explored. Attention is spent on areas of needed skills, reshaping limiting relational patterns, and voicing "the unspoken." The most impactful work is yours beyond session.

You are not alone. I welcome you to bravely open to the possibility ahead. I commit to making it worthwhile.
